Jennifer Harman Charity Tourney Delayed until Early '13

The Annual Jennifer Harman Celebrity Knockout Tournament, originally scheduled for Nov. 10, 2012 at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, has been delayed until early 2013, according to event organizers.
The tournament is not cancelled, just delayed for a few months. Check here for information on the new date and new Reno location as soon as it is available. RenoTahoePoker.com and its sister site, HoldemRadio.com, will be heavily involved in bringing you the 2013 tournament.

Affleck Takes Down DeepStacks Poker Tour at Grand Sierra

The folks with the DeepStacks Poker Tour came back to Reno for the Fall Pot of Gold series at the Grand Sierra Resort.  There were $340,000 in guarantees are being offered, including a $100,000 guarantee for the main event that was won by DeepStacks team pro Matt Affleck.

Reno's Steve Brecher and Jennifer Harman (Traniello) both have top-20 finishes early in the 2012 World Series of Poker at the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Cannon Takes Down Battle of Sexes

Camille Cannon of RenoTahoePoker.com and HoldemRadio.com took down the 2012 Battle of the Sexes, sponsored by the High Heels Poker Tour, on June 1 at the Atlantis Reno. Women played in one tournament, men played in the other. Once it was down to 5 men and 5 women, the tables combined to play it out, with Cannontaking the title, the money and the Red Stiletto trophy.
The event was part of the four-tourney series at the Atlantis brought to you by the High Heels Poker Tour. Every woman who bought in for $150 was able to register a male player for free.
